ABS-CBN Music warned Tuesday BINI fans against impersonators posing as representatives of the label in order to solicit money and personal information.
These impersonators are allegedly seeking money and personal information from BINI fans through a supposed "fan portal" on Weverse, the fan community app recently joined by the girl group, ABS-CBN Music said in a statement.
"Please be advised that any messages or emails claiming to be from Star Music and requesting payment or personal details on Weverse are fraudulent and unauthorized," the label said.
The company told fans to refrain from engaging or transacting with such accounts on Weverse, and advised them "to rely only on our official and verified channels for legitimate announcements and activities."

ABS-CBN Music added it was "coordinating with relevant teams and platforms to report and take down these fake accounts."
BINI joined Weverse — developed by South Korean entertainment giant HYBE — in March, around the same time as fellow P-pop superstars SB19, in a move aimed at enhancing fan engagement.
Joining artist communities on Weverse is free, with payments only required for optional membership subscriptions that grant access to exclusive content, as well as for purchasing merchandise through the official Weverse Shop.
The "Pantropiko" hitmakers recently generated buzz after performing at the popular Coachella music festival in the United States, making history as the first Filipino act to take the stage at the event.
