MANILA — P-Pop artists celebrated BINI’s historic Coachella debut on Saturday, acknowledging the Nation's Girl Group's representation of Filipino music on the global stage.
P-Pop Kings SB19 hailed BINI’s performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2026 as a win for P-Pop, wishing for Filipino music to further capture global audiences.
“BINIchella stage is another huge win for P-pop on the global stage! Congrats @BINI_ph, you truly made the Coachella stage Blush tonight,” SB19 said in an X post.
“Mabuhay ang musikang Pilipino, sana'y magpatuloy ang panalo ng P-pop sa buong mundo,” it added.
The group’s member Stell, in a post on his personal account, congratulated the nation’s girl group for hitting Coachella's Mojave Stage.
“CONGRATSSS MGA DZAIII! AMA IS ZING!!!” he said.
Justin, meanwhile, retweeted the girls’ photos from the 42-minute performance that impressed both fans and locals, quoting: “Booogsh!”
Boy group BGYO also sent their congratulations to the group for their "iconic" debut in Coachella. They said, “Sobrang proud kami para sa inyo! Mabuhay ang musikang Pilipino!”
SB19’s labelmate Charice Hermoso appreciated BINI’s beauty and talent showcased by the Friday performance.
“SOBRANG GAGANDA AT SOBRANG GALINGGGGG!!!! 😭😭😭😭♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️,” Charice said.
AJ Yape of the girl group G22 was proud to be a fellow Filipina. She said: “Ganun nga!!!! Go, Pilipins!! Congrats, Bini 😭😭😭😭😭🤍🤍🤍✨✨”
Her bandmate Alfea Zulueta was also honored to see the P-Pop community represented in one of the biggest music festivals in the West.
“PPop sa Coachella!!!! So proud huhu congrats @BINI_ph 😭🥳,” she said.
VXON’s Vine Enzo also said: “ahkkk congwats BINIChella!”
BINI is the first-ever Filipino act to step on the Coachella stage, performing hit songs including "Pantropiko," “Karera,” “Salamin, Salamin,” "Blink Twice," and “Cherry on Top.”
They also performed for the first time their new song “Blush" released a day before the event.
The performance received positive feedback from the group's fandom, the Blooms, and locals.
Within minutes of taking the Mojave Stage, hashtags such as #BINI_CoachellaWk1, #UyPilipins, #Shagidi, and #Karera, among many others, surged to the top of trending lists alongside a flood of fancams, screenshots, and real-time reactions from Blooms.
BINI will have their second Coachella performance next Friday, April 17.
