Gian Bernardino, one of the lead vocalists of the hit pop-rock band Cup of Joe, stepped into the role of news presenter as he appeared on Tuesday's episode of "TV Patrol Express."
The 24-year-old singer graced the program, a digital pre-show to the primetime newscast "TV Patrol," to promote his band's upcoming concert "Sandali: The Cup of Joe Fest."
The show will be held at the Philippine Sports Stadium on May 23.
During his guesting, Bernardino also served as "Star Patroller," reading the report about girl group BINI's first-ever livestream on the international fandom platform Weverse.
Bernardino also spoke about the success of "Multo," which topped the list of local songs on streaming platform Spotify in 2025, apart from other chart achievements.
"Sobrang unexpected kasi we just released the song dahil it's a reflection of what we've been through sa mga buhay namin," Bernardino said.
"Nagulat na lang din kami na naging most streamed OPM [song] siya sa Spotify," he said, adding that he hoped "Multo" served as a "source of comfort" to listeners.

The singer capped off his guest appearance by performing a brief snippet of "Multo."
On the social platform X, Bernardino shared a behind-the-scenes photo of his "TV Patrol Express" guesting.
He posted the photo in a quote post to his February 2025 post, where he shared that he was "selected as a TV broadcasting anchor nung (when I was in) Grade 11."
