BLACKPINK achieved a new milestone as the group became the first-ever artist to achieve 100 million subscribers on YouTube.
The K-Pop group took to social media to express their gratitude to their fans for this new milestone in their career.
"BLACKPINK HITS 100 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS ON YouTube. BLINKs worldwide, thank you so much!" BLACKPINK said in a Facebook post.
Fans online were quick to congratulate the group on the achievement.
"Breaking a record again. BLACKPINK, you'll always be iconic," one fan commented.
"FIRST EVERRRRRR IN HISTORY," another fan wrote.
YouTube presented BLACKPINK with a custom Red Diamond Creator Award.
"It is a privilege to witness BLACKPINK's unprecedented journey on YouTube as they transcend borders with their music. We are proud to support artists in connecting with audiences around the world with our global reach and building successful careers with our twin engine of ads and subscriptions," YouTube said via its official blog.
In the same blog, YouTube highlighted how the group's channel has nine entries in its "1 Billion Views Club."
The platform also pointed out how the group consistently pioneered ways to connect with their fans. "In 2021, BLACKPINK and YouTube previously teamed up for THE SHOW, the group’s first-ever livestream concert experience. In 2022, they invited BLINKs around the world to join the #PinkVenomChallenge to show off their creative take on the iconic dance moves," YouTube recounted.
The platform also shared that three of YouTube's top 10 all-time 24-hour music debuts belong to the K-Pop group.

BLACKPINK is set to release their highly-anticipated third extended play (EP), titled Deadline, on February 27.
In early February, the group announced the track list of the EP which includes "JUMP," "GO," "Me and my," "Champion," and "Fxxxboy."
The group recently wrapped up their "Deadline" world tour which they brought to 16 cities.
Composed of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, BLACKPINK made their debut in August 2016 under YG Entertainment.
