OPM band Cup of Joe is getting excited as they prepare for the upcoming concert, “Stardust Live in Singapore,” happening on March 8, at the Arena @ Expo.
Raphaell Ridao, one of the band’s lead vocalists, told fans to “expect celebration of music with wonderful artists,” and just have fun as they’re going to be performing with the Philippines’ Pop-Rock Royalty, Yeng Constantino.
“Expect the unexpected kasi nandun si Ms. Yeng… Expect celebration of music with wonderful artists, and just having fun,” Ridao said.
Gian Bernardino, the band’s lead vocalist, shared that Constantino became his “pop-rock awakening,” adding that performing with her is a “full circle moment" and experience for him.
“Main pop girly ko siya nung bata ako, kami ng Ate ko actually… Sobrang favored dream na makatrabaho siya nung Stardust Araneta, and sobrang saya and dali katrabaho,” he said.

“Sobrang bait po ni Ms. Yeng. Excited kaming gawin sya sa ibang bansa, ibang level na ‘yon.”
Constantino, meanwhile, expressed how happy she is to be working with what she called today’s “top artists” like Cup of Joe, emphasizing that she is also “learning a lot” every time she watches these young artists.

“Just to be a guest sa show nila, it’s an honor for me. And ako din kahit Ate na ako in the industry, I’m learning a lot from them when I watch them,” she said.
“Nakakatuwa to watch them at ‘yung marinig pa ‘yung mga bagong kanta na ginagawa nila ngayon sobrang amazing,” she added.
Constantino shared that aside from being good songwriters and performers, she also admired the band for how they connect to their supporters.
“I also admire the way that they connect to their fans… parang barkada lang nila… Natutuwa ako sa ganon kasi ako din nung time na nag-start din ako, I really like connecting with my fans, pero ibang level ‘yung kanila,” she expressed.
