Following the highly anticipated announcement of their comeback this year, South Korean boy group BTS officially revealed the title and release details of their upcoming fifth studio album.
As stated on the group’s official website, the album is titled “ARIRANG” and is scheduled for release on March 20, with a countdown currently showing 63 days remaining before its full unveiling.

We are excited to inform you on how to pre-order BTS The 5th album, 'ARIRANG,' scheduled for release on Friday, March 20,” the agency said in a statement posted on the group’s Weverse page.
Soompi reported that the physical album will be released in an extensive range of formats and versions. These include 16 different photobook editions, CD releases, and multiple vinyl versions such as ARIRANG – Rooted in Korea Ver., Rooted in Music Ver., Living Legend Ver., and Weverse Albums Ver.
Additional releases include ARIRANG (Modern Korea Vinyl), ARIRANG (Group Red Vinyl), and ARIRANG (Standard Vinyl), with seven member-specific vinyl editions: RM Silver Vinyl, Jin Pink Vinyl, SUGA Clear Vinyl, j-hope Cream Vinyl, Jimin Burgundy Vinyl, V Velvet Red Vinyl, and Jung Kook Orchid Vinyl. The lineup also includes an ARIRANG (Travel Tag CD Box Set) and an ARIRANG – Deluxe Vinyl, available in Black and White and Color versions.

Earlier this week, BTS also announced their official return with both a new album and a world tour, marking their first group activities in nearly four years following their military enlistment period and solo projects.
"The members were deeply involved in the creation of the songs, infusing their own thoughts and colors into them while musically expressing the emotions and struggles they have experienced along their journey," BigHit said, revealing that the new record will contain 14 tracks.
"Filled with the music that’s most true to BTS, the album is their heartfelt way of saying thank you to ARMY, who have been there this whole time," the label added.

The K-pop megastars also announced a massive 79-date world tour, which will kick off in South Korea in April. A two-day Manila stop has been scheduled for March 13 and 14, 2027, though concert venue and ticket details have yet to be announced.
BTS previously performed in the Philippines on December 7, 2014, for BTS Live Trilogy in Manila: Episode II – The Red Bullet at the Mall of Asia Arena. More recently, member j-hope brought his Hope On The Stage concert to Manila in April 2025.
