K-pop boy band SEVENTEEN celebrated Monday the 10th anniversary of its debut with the release of its fifth full-length album "Happy Burstday."
The record features of 16 tracks, including three group songs and solo tracks form each of the ensemble's 13 members.
The album release was accompanied with the unveiling of the music video for "Thunder," the lead single which the group reportedly premiered during a performance at the Jamsu Bridge in Seoul, South Korea on Sunday.
The album takes its title from a combination of the words "birthday" and "burst," which symbolizes SEVENTEEN's determination to be reborn as a new group, according to a Yonhap report.
"Happy Burstday" marks SEVENTEEN's first Korean album in three years, following "Face the Sun" in 2022.
SEVENTEEN is also preparing for a new world tour, based on an earlier teaser, though specific details have not yet been announced.
Launched in 2015, the 13-member SEVENTEEN has grown into one of K-pop's most commercially successful male acts, ranking as the third best-selling artist worldwide in 2024.
The group is currently promoting with 11 members as Jeonghan and Wonwoo are fulfilling their mandatory military service. Its other members are S.Coups, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino.
In January, the group played to a packed Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan for two days as part of their "Right Here" world tour.
