Miley Cyrus released two songs from her upcoming visual albu, Something Beautiful.
On Monday, March 31, Miley dropped the track "Prelude" accompanied by a music video.
"'Prelude' features Miley wearing archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture, as seen on the album artwork, shot by renowned fashion photographer Glen Luchford. The film’s cinematography is helmed by Benoît Debie, adding to its striking visual narrative. 'Prelude' is now available on all streaming platforms," read the post on Miley's Instagram page.
On Tuesday, April 1, Miley released another track, "Something Beautiful," accompanied by a music video.
According to Miley's post, the title track "explores her deep connection to fashion showcasing an original custom design by Casey Cadwallader for the House of Mugler in the visual."
"This era marks another bold artistic evolution for Miley, blending music and film into an immersive experience. 'Something Beautiful' is now available on all streaming platforms," the post added.
Fans online were quick to react to Miley's song releases.
"MOTHER HAS ARRIVED," one fan commented.
"Makes this Monday the best day of the week," another fan wrote.
It was in March when Miley announced that she will be releasing her ninth studio album on May 30.
Something Beautiful will feature 13 original tracks, with Miley and Shawn Everett at the helm as executive producers. Along with the announcement, the singer revealed the official album artwork, shot by renowned fashion photographer Glen Luchford.
"The album artwork features [Miley] draped in archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture, a striking nod to the album’s bold aesthetic and visual storytelling," read the post on Miley's Instagram page.
It was also announced that the album will be accompanied by a visual film.
The visual project is co-directed by Miley, Jacob Bixenman, and Brendan Walter, with acclaimed cinematographer Benoît Debie behind the lens.
