Kapamilya stars were among those nominated at the 38th Aliw Awards.
Organized by the Aliw Awards Foundation Inc., the annual honors aims at recognizing excellence in live entertainment, including theater and concerts.
Among the nominated Kapamilya personalities include: Rain Celmar - Best New Female Artist; Negi and Petite - Best Stand Up Comedian; Jonathan Manalo - Best Inspirational Gospel Singer and Best Composer for Original Music Theater for "Delia D"; Imogen Cantong - Best Female Child Performer; Rico Hizon - Best Male Host; Alexa Ilacad - Best Lead Actress in a Musical for "Liwanag sa Dilim"' Nikki Valdez - Best Lead Actress in a Musical for "Next to Normal"; and Jed Madela - Best Male Performance in a Concert.
Aliw Awards will also honor some of the top concerts such as Maki's "Kolorcoaster," Gary Valencinao's "Pure Energy: One More Time," Erik Santos' "Storie of the Heart," Marco Sison's "Season of OPM" and Nonoy Zuniga's "Beyond Gold: Songs of a Lifetime" -- all nominated under the Best Male Concert category.
Ogie Alcasid's "Q&A" concert with Odette Quesada is nominated under the Best Group Ensemble Concert of the Year category, alongside his wife Regine Velasquez's concert with Vice Ganda titled "Super Divas."
"Super Divas" director Jon Moll is nominated for Best Director for a Major Concert, alongside Maki for his own concert ,and Micky Perz for BINI's "BINIfied."
"ASAP" singers also received nominations, such as Zsa Zsa Padilla, Jona, Lani Misalucha, Morissette, Ice Seguerra and Regine Velasuqez for Best Female Artist.
Best Collaborations in a Concert nominees include Vice Ganda and Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid and Odette Quesada, and Martin Nievera and Pops Fernandez for "Always and Forever."
Five individuals have been selected to receive this year’s Legacy Award: National Artist for Dance Alice Reyes, Jun Polistico, Rod Cornejo, Ligaya Salonga and Dulce.

Zsa Zsa Padilla, Gary Valenciano and Jed Madela will also receive Lifetime Achievement Awards from the Aliw Awards this year.
The 38th Aliw Awards will be held at the Manila Hotel Fiesta Pavillion on December 15.
