The PPOP Awards, now recognized as the PPOP Music Awards or Philippine Popular Music Awards, has flourished and left an indelible mark on the industry. The journey began in 2016, ignited by Jhon Mark “Yuan” Quiblat, a passionate advocate for Filipino music, culture and the arts. His unwavering belief in the talent of young Filipino artists has ensured that their invaluable contributions to Philippine pop culture receive the recognition they deserve.

The official nominees for this year's awards have been determined through a nomination poll, which is now moving into the evaluation phase. This process follows the established guidelines, taking into account the artists' officially released songs, albums, music videos, and public appearances during the eligibility window from November 2024 to November 2025. In the major categories, the winners will be selected by an esteemed awards jury composed of professionals from the music industry, government agencies, music professionals and other entertainment specialists. This jury aims to ensure that the chosen winners reflect the preferences of the general public and align with the objectives of the PPOP Music Awards.
This year, the selection for Fan's Favorite Choice in the special award category was thoughtfully put together and powered by JuanCast, a voting platform designed specifically for fans and for every Juan's choice.

The exciting awards show will feature special performances from the brightest PPOP stars of this generation MNL48, CALISTA, CLOUD 7, YGIG, ONE VERSE, 6ENSE, AZTER, NEO, SY.NC, PIXIE, VVINK and all the way from Mindanao ONE SOUTH.This is truly a momentous and historic event for the PPOP industry as we celebrate 10 years of Pinoy Pop excellence happening on November 29, 2025, Saturday at the historical landmark of Philippine performing arts – The Metropolitan Theater.
