Kapamilya star Anne Curtis and content creator Mimiyuuuh had a major career moment as they interviewed Hollywood stars Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep for during its Japan press tour.
On their social media pages, 20th Century Studios Philippines shared a sneak peek of the duo’s experience, showing glimpses of their red carpet appearances and interviews at the highly anticipated sequel’s promotional event held in Tokyo.
“How do you say ‘awra’ and ‘rampa’ in Japanese? In @annecurtissmith and @mimiyuuuh we trust! Watch and see how the iconic duo totally slayed The Devil Wears Prada 2 press tour in Japan!” they wrote in a caption.
In the video, both Anne and Mimiyuuuh couldn’t hide their excitement as they prepared to meet the cast.
“I’m so excited to, of course, number one is to watch the film and two, (to) be here at the event," Anne said.
Mimiyuuh added, “Maliban sa mga looks na makikita natin, excited ako to meet the cast!”
One of the standout moments showed Anne warmly greeting Meryl Streep with a handshake, introducing herself as the veteran actress smiled back.
“It’s meeting you!” Anne greeted a smiling Meryl as she shook her hand.
She also shared a lighthearted exchange with Anne Hathaway, as the two playfully introduced themselves, both having the same name.
“Hi, I’m Anne!” Anne said, shaking Anne Hathaway's hands as the Hollywood actress playfully introduced, “I’m Anne!”
Meanwhile, Mimiyuuuh had her own fangirl moment, getting to hug both Anne and Meryl during their interview. She also showed off her red dress, earning praise from Meryl herself.
“It looks incredible on you,” Meryl told Mimiyuuuh.
In the latter part of the video, Anne shared her reflection interviewing the two Hollywood stars, saying: “They’re so sweet. Easy to interview.”

Mimiyuuuh also teased a vlog documenting her entire press tour experience, while previously sharing snapshots from the Tokyo red carpet.

Last Monday, It’s Showtime host Anne also hinted at the interview on Instagram, calling it a “dream come true” moment.
“OMG totally had an Andy Sachs moment. Dying. Can't wait to share. But they were both so sweet. As an Actress, absolute dream come true,” Anne said, referring to Anne Hathaway’s character in the movie franchise.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 follows Miranda Priestly as she navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing, where she reunites with Andy Sachs (Anna Hathaway) to face off against her former assistant turned rival Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt) who is now a high-powered executive for a luxury group.
The film is set to be released in Philippine cinemas on April 29.
