Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for its upcoming romantic comedy K-Drama Sold Out on You.
The series stars Ahn Hyo-seop and Chae Won-bin, with Kim Bum joining the cast.
According to Netflix, the series follows a "workaholic home shopping host [who] heads to the countryside to get her sales back on top, but a mysterious farmer shakes up her plans — and her heart."
Based on a previous report by News1, as translated by Soompi, Hyo-seop plays Matthew Lee, a farmer cultivating a rare and miraculous ingredient. He also serves as the CEO of a natural cosmetics company and works as a cosmetics R&D researcher. Living a disciplined life in the village, he harbors a secret tied to his past.
Won-bin takes on the role of Dam Ye-jin, a top-selling host at a major South Korean home shopping network. Known for selling out everything from gadgets to fashion, her relentless drive leads to severe insomnia after sacrificing rest for productivity.
In the trailer, Matthew and Ye-jin initially clash, unable to stand each other. However, as they spend more time together, their dynamic begins to shift. What starts as constant bickering slowly turns into genuine concern, with the two checking in on each other’s daily lives.
By the end of the trailer, their relationship softens, hinting at a budding romance. In one moment, Matthew tells Ye-jin, “Ms. Dam, let’s see each other every day,” signaling a deeper emotional connection.
Bum plays Eric Seo, an executive director of global skincare brand L’Étoile. The trailer also teases tension between Eric and Matthew, suggesting a possible rivalry.
