Host Raymond Gutierrez broke his silence to defend his brother, Richard, following the remarks made by Sarah Lahbati in a podcast interview with Kylie Verzosa. In a TikTok comment, the celebrity brother made sure that he let everyone know that the Kapamilya actor has been giving his share in providing for their children, Zion and Kai.
In the podcast interview, Sarah shared that she doesn’t ask for help as she doesn’t “feel the need to.”

“Great question, no. I mean, I will be honest and say that I struggle asking for help but in this specific scenario and question of yours, you ask if I wanted to ask for help? No. I don’t feel the need to. I can do it so I don’t see why I should or ask, yeah period,” she explained.
Sarah added that there wasn’t any discussion but she maintained she is fine if no help will be given as she’s “never gonna beg” for it.
“I don’t think there was even any discussion in terms of that stuff but it’s my decision that I’m okay with not getting help–– I’m never gonna beg, I’m never gonna ask. It should be an automatic thing actually. That’s it and if it’s not, why am I going to beg or ask if I can do it myself,” she continued.
In the comment section of the post, Raymond made sure to clear up the name of his twin brother and state how he’s been helping with everything that their children need–– from schooling to traveling and to hobbies.

“My brother provides for his kids. Period. School, hobbies, travel, clothing, staff and everything else they need. The kids split their time equally between both parents,” Raymond wrote.
For the celebrity brother, he hoped that it was clarified more in the interview so that people won’t misunderstand the answers made. Fans have liked the comment of Raymond and have shared their opinions about the interview.
“I can’t sit here and watch this and not state facts. I wish this was clarified during this interview,” he ended.
Sarah and Richard were together for several years and tied the knot back in 2020. They then separated in 2024 and have been co-parenting their children since then.
