K-Pop Demon Hunters lead voice actress Arden Cho expressed her excitement and support for Liza Soberano's upcoming DreamWorks' animated film Forgotten Island.
Liza is part of the film's main voice cast alongside Grammy-winning artist H.E.R.
The trailer for the Filipino folklore-inspired movie was released on Wednesday, March 25 (PH time).
Reacting to the trailer on Liza's Instagram page, Arden wrote: "Omg I’m sooooo excited for this Liza!!! Congrats 😍😍😍😍."
Forgotten Island follows lifelong best friends Jo (voiced by H.E.R.) and Raissa (voiced by Liza), who become stranded on the magical, long-forgotten island of Nakali. To find their way home, they must face a difficult choice that may require them to give up their most treasured memories. The film is inspired by Filipino folklore.
In the trailer, high school graduates Jo and Raissa are on the brink of going their separate ways when they are suddenly transported to Nakali, a mysterious island inhabited by Filipino mythical creatures.
As they search for a way back home, they encounter Raww (Dave Franco), a weredog, and come face-to-face with the island’s most feared being, the dreaded Manananggal (Lea Salonga).
The animated film also includes voice performances from Dolly de Leon, Manny Jacinto, and Jo Koy.
The film is written and co-directed by Filipino-American filmmaker Januel Mercado together with Joel Crawford, and is scheduled to hit Philippine theaters on September 23.

Back in October 2025, Liza took to social media to express her excitement about landing the lead voice role in the project.
"I can't believe I get to be part of something as special as Forgotten Island!!" she posted on her Instagram stories.
She added: "Thank you @dreamworks @joel.crawford.art @jmercado for making my dreams come true.”
Liza previously voiced the Filipino-dubbed version of the Netflix animated series Trese in 2020.
She made her Hollywood debut in 2024 with Lisa Frankenstein, where she portrayed Taffy, a cheerleader and the half-sister of Lisa, played by Kathryn Newton.
