The trailer for "Avatar: Fire and Ash," the third installment to James Cameron's epic science fiction film series, has been released.
Posted on the official "Avatar" YouTube channel, the trailer transports audiences back to the lush moon of Pandora, where a new adventure unfolds for Marine-turned-Na'vi Jake Sully and his family.
"Avatar: Fire and Ash"—scheduled for release on December 19, 2025—stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Oona Chaplin, Cliff Curtis, Britain Dalton, Trinity Bliss, Jack Champion, Bailey Bass and Kate Winslet.
Introduced in 2009, the first "Avatar" feature followed humans attempting to colonize Pandora, a lush, habitable moon in another star system inhabited by a humanoid species called the Na'vi.
A sequel, "Avatar: The Way of Water," premiered in 2022, introducing a new aquatic clan in Pandora.
