Emotional Vice Ganda on 'Call me Mother': 'Ipagmamalaki ko talaga to!'

MANILA -- Vice Ganda was in tears after the special advance screening of her MMFF movie "Call me Mother." 

Vice, together with lead stars Nadine Lustre and child star Lucas Andalio and director Jun Robles Lana, received congratulatory hugs, handshakes and praises left and right from executives, celebrities and invited guests.



"I was so proud with 'And thr breadwinner is...' last year. Last year I thought it was my best movie, that was true last year it was my best movie. But now itong 'Call me Mother', ang saya-saya ko lang na nakagawa na ako ng ganitong pelikula, parang ito na 'to, ito na yung, hinihiling ko to, hinihingi ko ng pabor at tulong sa Star (Cinema), kay Direk Jun, kasi gusto ko to. Gusto ko ng ganito,"  Vice told ABS-CBN News. 

"Ang ganda ganda nito, ipagmamalaki ko talaga to! I believe this is gonna be a classic," she added. 

Nadine also praised Vice and Lucas' acting especially in some key dramatic highlights of the film. The award-winning actress said that her co-stars should win an award for their performances.

"Ang galing nung bata, ang galing ni Nadine. Ang galing ni Direk Jun. Ang ganda nung buo. Kaya ito na talaga! Ito na," Vice said.

Many Kapamilya celebrities showed support for Vice and Nadine, including Piolo Pascual, Emilio Daez, Robi Domingo, Michael Saeger, Darren Espanto, Enchong Dee, Kyle Echarri, Cianne Dominguez, Donny Pangilinan, Jervi Wrightson, Lassy, Ogie Diaz, Bianca Manalo and Maricel Soriano. 

 Anne Curtis, Jhong Hilario and Vhong Navarro -- Vice's co-hosts from "It's Showtime" -- also attended the screening

 "Call me Mother" hits cinemas nationwide on Christmas Day.
