Music fans around the world will soon have more exclusive access to the year’s biggest events as Disney+ joins Hulu in livestreaming major live music festivals for the first time across both platforms.
In a press release issued May 19, Disney+ announced its partnership with Hulu to bring large-scale music festivals to global audiences in real time. Known as the streaming home for films and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and more, Disney+ is broadening its entertainment lineup with the addition of live music experiences.
The move also marks a new chapter for Hulu, which is now in its sixth year of giving subscribers exclusive access to major music festivals. With Disney+ joining the livestream effort globally, audiences across different countries will be able to watch these Live Nation festivals simultaneously at the comfort of their homes.
Among the highly anticipated festivals set for livestream is Lollapalooza, which Disney+ and Hulu will air from July 31 to August 3 (PH time).
The event carries added significance for Filipino fans and A’Tin as P-Pop powerhouse SB19 is set to make history as the first all-Filipino act to perform at Lollapalooza. The group is scheduled for an hour-long set at the festival’s Allianz stage and is confirmed to perform from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on July 30 (4:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. on July 31 PH Time).

Beyond Lollapalooza, Disney+ and Hulu will also livestream the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival from June 12 to June 15 (PH Time), as well as Austin City Limits Music Festival scheduled for October 2 to 4 and October 9 to 11.

The upcoming music festival streams form part of Disney+ and Hulu’s growing lineup of live programming, positioning both services as daily destinations for viewers seeking cultural events, news, sports and now more music content.
The expansion also reflects the increasingly global nature of music fandom. According to the 2025 Live Nation Living for Live Global Study, 73% of fans said they are listening to more international artists than before, while 85% agreed that live music now transcends borders and languages.
“Music festivals used to be experiences reserved for the people who could physically be there,” said Kevin Chernett, EVP, Head of Global Media Partnerships at Live Nation. “Now they’re becoming global live moments that fans want to experience together in real time, no matter where they are in the world. Expanding this partnership with Disney+ and Hulu allows these festivals to reach music fans at an entirely different scale.”
Additional details regarding the livestreams are expected to be announced ahead of each festival.
