Kapamilya stars Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino are set to take their on-screen partnership to the global stage as they prepare for their upcoming “Love, KimPau” world tour, marking their first time to headline an international show together.
The actress admitted feeling a mix of excitement and pressure as they embark on the tour, which will feature just the two of them.
“Actually, habang iniisip ko siya, shucks, kami lang gagawa pa nito. Tapos parang naisip ng TFC na pag-show-in kami sa ibang bansa na kaming dalawa lang. So, medyo nakakakaba, at the same time nakaka-pressure, and nakaka-excite din,” Chiu said.

Avelino echoed the same sentiments, sharing that headlining a show is something he does not usually take on.
“Ako, I feel the same way, kinakabahan. Hindi ko rin talaga gustong mag-head ng show. Lagi kong tinatanggihan pag kinukuha ako to head the show,” he said.
The actor added that despite his reservations, the tour serves as a meaningful way to give back to their supporters.
“I think it’s one way also that we can thank the fans with our performances at sa mga hinanda namin for them. Buy your tickets now,” he added.
Beyond entertainment, Avelino also hopes their performances will resonate with Filipinos living abroad.
“Ako, medyo malambot talaga 'yung puso ko sa mga kababayan natin abroad, whether OFWs or immigrants. Iba talaga kapag malayo ka sa Pilipinas. May mga nami-miss ka pamilya, kaibigan, kahit maliliit na bagay,” he said.
“Para sa akin, sana mabigay namin yung feeling na yun, yung kulang or nami-miss nila sa Pilipinas sa show namin doon,” he added.
Chiu, for her part, shared her excitement over meeting their global fans, who she described as some of their strongest supporters.

“Nakakatuwa na ang dami naming pupuntahan sa first world tour namin ni Pau. Sila din 'yung isa sa biggest supporters namin, lalo na online,” she said.
She also noted that the tour is a new experience for both of them, as they are more accustomed to performing in larger group productions.
“Usually pag nag-tour ako, kasama ko 'ASAP' or group na may singers talaga. Ngayon, kaming dalawa lang, so kinakabahan talaga kami,” she added.
Joining them as a special guest is “Tawag ng Tanghalan” standout Carmelle.
