MANILA -- "The Voice US" Season 26 grand champion Sofronio Vasquez is set to hold a concert with Asia's Nightingale Lani Misalucha in California.
Polaris, the Star Magic-affiliated management unit, announced that the event billed as "Powehouse Supreme" will be held on August 29 at 7:30 p.m. at Sycuan Casino Resort in El Cajon.
Vasquez made history as the first Asian to win "The Voice USA" after receiving most number of votes.
He first rose to fame as one of the "Tawag Ng Tanghalan" contenders on "It's Showtime," where he reached the semifinals.
Meanwhile, Misalucha is considered one of OPM icons and is known for her hits such as "Wala Na Bang Pag-Ibig," "Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin," "Dahil Tanging Ikaw," and "Malaya Ka Na."
