Two Filipino music icons will be joining award-winning singer-songwriter Josh Groban at the Manila stop of his Gems World Tour.
According to a press release from Wilbros Live, Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez and Concert King Martin Nievera will serve as Josh's special guests for the concert, which will take place on February 18 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The Manila show marks Josh's return to the Philippines after seven years.
"Every time I have the opportunity to perform for my fans in the Philippines, it is a night of many things – most of which is gratitude – gratitude that I feel from my fans there since album one, day one," he remarked. "So whenever I come to the Philippines, whenever I get to play a concert there, I celebrate your country’s love of music."
Tickets for the GEMS World Tour are on sale and available at SMTickets.com and SM Ticket outlets nationwide.
Josh last performed in Manila in 2019, a show made even more memorable by Lea Salonga's surprise appearance.
In November 2025, Josh released his latest album, Hidden Gems, a curated collection featuring ten of his fans’ most cherished and rare tracks, many of which were previously unavailable on streaming platforms, plus one brand-new song. Earlier in 2025, he also released an 18-track career-spanning compilation titled Gems, and completed a sold-out five-night run at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas featuring a hits-focused production.
In Spring 2023, the singer returned to Broadway to star in the acclaimed revival of Sweeney Todd, earning Tony and GRAMMY nominations for his performance in the title role.
Josh has sold more than 35 million albums worldwide and has performed in prestigious venues across the globe, earning multiple Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award nominations throughout his multi-faceted career.
He continues to be an active advocate for arts education, with his Find Your Light Foundation supporting programs that enrich the lives of young people through arts, education, and cultural awareness.
