Several Kapamilya stars took home top honors at the 8th Gawad Lasallianeta 2026, an awards ceremony organized by the students of De La Salle Araneta University, recognizing excellence in media, entertainment, and influence.
One of the major highlights was the primetime newscast "TV Patrol" winning Most Outstanding News Show.
In an interview, Alvin Elchico dedicated the award to the entire "TV Patrol" team from the anchors to the editorial boards, video editors, producers, and reporters.
“Ang award na ito para sa 'TV Patrol' ay hindi lang sa lahat ng anchors kung hindi sa lahat ng naghihirap araw-araw. Sa boss natin, kay Francis Toral, sa mga editorial boards, sa desk, sa video editors, sa producers and reporters. Of course, para sa inyo po itong lahat,” he said.
Young star Zia Grace was named Most Outstanding Child Star, expressing both joy and nervous excitement as she accepted her award.
“Oh my gosh! I'm so happy po na natanggap ko po itong award kinakabahan po ako,” Zia shared.
Meanwhile, Anne Curtis had a double victory, as her series "It’s Okay to Not Be Okay" won Most Outstanding Teleserye, while she was recognized as Most Outstanding Actress in a Lead Role.
“Sobra ako nagpapasalamat sa mga guro sa mga estudyante na talagang bumoto sa amin, sa akin at sa show namin. I'm just so happy its a great way to start the year,” Curtis said.

Maris Racal was honored as Most Outstanding Supporting Actress for her performance in the series "Incognito."
“Super natuwa ako sobrang thankful ako sa De La Salle Araneta University. Thank you so much for this recognition. Narecognize ako as outstanding supporting actress para sa Incognito,” she said.
Meanwhile, former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate Esnyr received the award for Most Outstanding Social Media Personality.
“Being nominated along side these creative and talented people means a lot to me talaga binigyan niyo ako ng pagkakataon for the second time,” Esnyr said.
The reality show "Pinoy Big Brother" also emerged as Most Outstanding Competition/Reality Show, with its hosts recognized as Most Outstanding Competition Show Hosts.
Additional honors were given through the Zeal Awards, among those who received the recognition was "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" grand winner Brent Manalo.
Meanwhile, comedy superstar Vice Ganda was named Most Influential Celebrity and Most Outstanding Brand Endorser.
Vice Ganda and all of the "It's Showtime" hosts were also recognized as Most Outstanding Variety Show Hosts, while "It's Showtime" was named Most Outstanding Variety Show.
