An iconic song deserves an iconic video rendition!
Gary Valenciano has announced that the performance video for his legendary song "Shout For Joy" will be released on August 6 at 8 p.m. on his official YouTube channel.
The "Shout For Joy" video highlights the high-octane live performance that kicked off his acclaimed "Pure Energy: One Last Time" concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in April 2024.
This remarkable piece, performed under the skillful direction of Paolo Valenciano and Mon Faustino, is a celebration of energy, music, and pure talent.
The visual experience was expertly put up by video coverage director Nico Faustino and editors Gary V and Gerard Lopez, while the song's new arrangement and sound mixing were handled by Gary V himself and Rards Corpus.
The talented MJ Arda choreographed the performance, which features the OPM icon accompanied by an outstanding ensemble of 80 dancers including The Manoeuvres Ignite, A-Team, and the Pure Energy ensemble.
The "Shout For Joy" video performance aligns with his 61st birthday and 41st wedding anniversary with wife Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano.
Valenciano will also return to New Zealand and Australia for a series of highly anticipated live concerts, adding to the excitement of this week.
These events, scheduled for August 10 in Auckland at the Sir Woolf Fisher Arena, Due Drop Events Centre, and August 16 in Canberra at the Snow Concert Hall, Canberra Grammar School, aim to give the same passionate and high-energy performances that fans have come to expect.
Presented by Manila Genesis Entertainment and Management in collaboration with E-Talent International and marketed by JN88, these shows are slated to be two of Valenciano’s main highlights this year.
His previous concert, "Down Under," in March of this year, got standing ovations, demonstrating his ageless appeal and unstoppable energy.
He also recently drew the attention of concertgoers when he returned to the Smart Araneta Coliseum to perform as the main headliner for the combined 80th anniversary concert of healthcare brands Unilab and Mercury Drug.
His presentation, which received a standing ovation, featured classic songs and dynamic medleys that astonished the audience. When he went offstage to dance and sing with the fans, the audience went wild.
The next day, the "ASAP" host and "Idol Philippines" judge moved many people to tears when he performed for the I Want To Share Foundation, which helps children with cancer.
