It was a night of collaboration, surprises, and pure star power as some of today’s brightest artists and thousands of fans came together to “Break A Limit” at the Acer Day 2025 concert at the Mall of Asia Arena last August 9.
From OPM classics to P-Pop anthems and first-time collabs, the evening delivered non-stop entertainment that had the crowd singing, dancing, and cheering from start to finish.
OPM nostalgic and powerful performances of Kamikazee, The Itchyworms, and Maki
The concert kicked off with a wave of OPM nostalgia and live-music energy courtesy of Kamikazee, The Itchyworms, and Maki.
OPM band Kamikazee hyped up the audience with their upbeat, infectious sound, setting an adrenaline-charged mood with their hit songs “Unang Tikim,” “Halik,” “Seksi! Seksi,” “Narda,” and “Huling Sayaw.”
The Itchyworms followed with their signature wit and crowd-friendly hits, prompting mass sing-alongs with “Ayokong Tumanda,” “Di Na Muli,” “Love Team,” “Akin Ka Na Lang,” and their trending mashup of Jose Mari Chan’s “Christmas In Our Hearts” with their own “Beer.”
OPM hitmaker Maki brought in a vibrant splash of color to the arena with his smooth, heartfelt tracks “Namumula,” “Kahel na Langit,” “Dilaw,” “Saan,” “Bakit” and “Kailan,” filling the venue with easy-listening grooves and sing-along moments.
Pamilya De Guzman Joins the Acer Family
In one of the evening’s warmest moments, Pamilya De Guzman — Klarisse De Guzman, Mika Salamanca, Shuvee Etrata, Esnyr Ranollo, Will Ashley, Brent Manalo, Ralph De Leon, and Charlie Fleming — were officially welcomed as the newest members of the Acer family.
Klarisse captivated with a heartfelt “Wala Na Talaga”; Shuvee charmed with Lenka’s “The Show”; Charlie brought high school nostalgia with “You Belong With Me”; and Mika wowed with Sabrina Carpenter’s “Manchild” and “Please Please Please.”
Meanwhile, Brent, Ralph, and Will melted hearts with “Dalangin,” “Para Sa Akin,” and “Hanggang Kailan,” respectively.
For the duets, Ralph and Shuvee gave a tender performance of “Palagi,” and Brent and Mika turned up the kilig factor with “Tibok” by Earl Agustin.
Although he didn’t sing, Esnyr Ranollo joined seasoned host Robi Domingo as co-host for the night, keeping the crowd entertained with quick wit, playful banter, and effortless crowd work between sets.
G22 Brings the Girl Power
P-Pop girl group G22 owned their set with fierce energy, starting strong with “Pa-Pa-Pa-Palaban,” and “Filipina Queen.” Their stage presence and tight choreography showed why they’re among P-Pop’s top rising acts. They then shifted gears with the touching performance of “Musika,” proving they can captivate in both high-energy and emotional moments.
Sarah Geronimo shines bright like the shiniest “Tala”
When Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo took the stage, the arena roared. She delivered show-stopping performances of “Kilometro” and “Tala,” pairing her signature powerhouse vocals with flawless choreography. The crowd sang along word-for-word, and Sarah’s undeniable charisma reminded everyone why she remains at the top of the OPM scene.
SB19 takes center stage and leads epic collaborations
Currently in the middle of their Simula at Wakas World Tour, SB19 proved they’re unstoppable with a fiery set that included “Dam” and “Dungka.” Their precision, stamina, and stage chemistry were on full display, with each member bringing their A-game. The crowd’s deafening cheers showed why they are hailed as the P-Pop Kings.
SB19 also took the lead in some of Acer Day 2025’s most iconic collaboration stages, teaming up with fellow P-Pop act G22 for the explosive “8Ton Ball,” joining forces with Pinoy Big Brother’s Will Ashley, Charlie Fleming, and Esnyr Ranollo for “Crimzone,” and sharing the stage with Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo for the first-ever live performance of “Umaaligid.”
