The Kapamilya housemates of ‘PBB Celebrity Collab.' ABS-CBN News
After nearly four months inside the Pinoy Big Brother (PBB)bhouse, the "PBB Celebrity Collab Edition" housemates stepped back into the outside world with grateful hearts and lasting memories.
During their media appearance since the finale, River Joseph reflected on their once-in-a-lifetime experience. “Appreciate the little things, even appreciating the time we have together. Our time here was once in a lifetime, we’ll never get to experience this again, so we have to be grateful talaga for every moment,” said Joseph.
Kira Balinger also brought lessons from the PBB house, saying, “I think what I’ve learned or bring with me from the house into the acting scene is really how to develop a character. It’s my first time to be surrounded by many people my age and it’s unusual for me because my life even before 'PBB' I'm very isolated I didn’t really have a lot of friends and here in 'PBB' to be with so many different personalities and so many colors I think that would really help me in terms of making a character.”
Former housemates Esnyr Ranollo and Klarisse de Guzman expressed deep gratitude for the overwhelming support they received from the public, especially for their representation of the LGBTQIA+ community.
“Mabuhay ang mga bakla at patuloy ang laban natin. Maraming maraming salamat sa mga sumusuporta po,” Ranollo shared proudly. De Guzman added, “Actually nung time na 'yun, hinihintay ko lang 'yung right timing. Hinihintay ko lang kung kailan 'yung tamang panahon para sabihin 'yun. Na-feel ko 'yun na talaga 'yung moment para sabihin na and by that time wala, hindi ko iniisip kung ano iniisip ng ibang tao sa labas ang importante sa akin yung present namin doon that time. Ang nangigibabaw sa akin was happiness and excitement sabi ko bahala na kung tatanggapin ako.”
The excitement didn’t end with the finale as the housemates are now preparing for "PBB Collove: The Concert," to be held at the Araneta Coliseum.
“Marami silang dapat abangan kasi ngayon nalang ulit kami magsasama-sama all 20 housemates. Makikita niyo po ‘yun! May mga special guest, kakanta, sasayaw, aarte lahat mapapakita po namin,” saiid big winner Brent Manalo.
Also there to share their experiences were ex-housemates AC Bonifacio, Bianca de Vera, Xyriel Manabat, Ralph de Leon, and Emilio Daez, all of whom are expected to perform during the concert.
The "PBB Collove" concert will happen on August 10 at the Araneta Coliseum.
