Bar Boys: A New Musical–– the law school musical that surprised everyone–– is set to make its return this October once more after its successful two sold-out runs last year. Theater company Barefoot Theatre Collaborative announced earlier this month that they are set to open on October 24, 2025 at the Hyundai Hall, Areté in Quezon City for a limited engagement only.
Bar Boys: A New Musical is the musical stage adaptation of the well-loved 2017 Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino film by Kip F. Oebanda. It follows the life of four friends and their journey to become lawyers, where their dreams, ideals, and even friendships are challenged by the demands of law school, the pressures of love and life, and the harsh reality of the world.

As previously announced by the theater company, original cast members Benedix Ramos, Alex Diaz, Jerom Canlas, Omar Uddin, and Sheila Francisco will reprise their roles as Erik Vicencio, Chris Abueva, Torran Garcia, Josh Zuniga, and Justice Hernandez respectively.
Joining them are familiar faces as well–– Juliene Mendoza and Lorenz Martinez alternating as Paping, Nor Domingo as Atty. Maurice Carlson, Gimbey dela Cruz as Boss Mama, and Carlon Matobato as Male Professor & others.
Ade Valenzona and Mijon Cortez return as part of the ensemble as well. Rounding up the returning cast members are Ian Pangilinan as the cover for Chris Abueva, Shaun Ocrisma as the cover for Atty. Victor Cruz, Chino Veguillas as the cover for Paping and Atty. Maurice Carlson, and Naths Everett as the cover for Justice Hernandez, Boss Mama, Female Professor & others.
Meanwhile, new faces will be seen on stage as Gio Gahol plays the role of Atty. Victor Cruz and Natasha Cabrera joins as Female Professor & others. Kapamilya singer-actress Sheena Belarmino will join the ensemble as well.
