Kapamilya actress and Star Magic talent Kim Chiu expressed her gratitude as she was awarded at the Star Magical Christmas 2025 for her 20 years of being a Star Magic artist. During her acceptance speech, the star of The Alibi shared her humble beginnings and how she was guided by the right people to remain grounded all these years.
Kim started her career after winning the first edition of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition. Since then, she has starred in several hit series and films and even produced several chart-topping songs.

“First of all, maraming maraming salamat of course to Star Magic for not just giving me this beautiful career [and] for guiding me for the entire 20 years but for also giving me a home… Thank you so much sa Star Magic for this beautiful career sa ABS-CBN,” Kim expressed.
She added how she started her career in the showbiz industry “without any talent” but wanted to achieve her dreams and hope for her family.
“I don’t know how to sing, to dance, to act but what I only have are dreams and hope na sana maitawid ko yung pamilya ko. Yung isang dream ko din na mapanuod sa TV everyday–– after 20 years, parang everyday pa rin naman,” she said.
Kim maintained that talent will only get you so far, but it’s the right mindset that gave her the longevity that she enjoys now. In her 20 years of being active in the entertainment industry, the Kapamilya star has achieved various awards–– both locally and internationally.

“I also learned with those 20 years that your talent will bring you in the room and open doors for you but your attitude will define how long those doors will stay open,” she shared.
“Kaya let’s never forget to say thank you and be grateful for all the opportunities na ibinibigay sa atin–– either big or small. Pag pinagsamasama mo yun, it’s a dream that you never thought and your younger self will be proud of you,” she continued.
The Kapamilya actress gave credit to her loyal fans as well who have been there since the start of her career. For her, the life she has now is because of her fans who have been supporting her in everything that she does.
“I just want to thank also to all my loving supporters–– through ups and downs–– nandiyan talaga sila for me. Wala naman manunuod ng mga pinagkatiwalang teleserye sa akin, mga movies, mga products that I endorse if not because of my solid supporters. Lahat kayo, wala ako kung wala kayo,” she ended.
