Actress Sarah Lahbati took to social media to share the reason behind her attendance at this year’s Paris Fashion Week.
On her Instagram broadcast channel, Sarah reflected on her experience last year, saying that she dedicated it to her younger self.
“Why am I doing PFW? As I try to find the right words, I think back to last year—September and October 2024—when I decided to put myself out there in Paris. I did it for one reason: to make little Sarah happy. She's always loved fashion, always been curious, always wanted to learn from other creators,” Sarah recalled.
The actress admitted that her first Paris Fashion Week experience ignited something in her, inspiring her to return this year.
“I remember writing a note that started with, 'What are you doing here in Paris? What's your purpose?' Not to sound deep or cheesy, but I really believe everything we do has meaning. Last year changed me-it woke something up that had always been there but finally caught fire,” she added.

Marking her second year at Paris Fashion Week, Sarah described the experience as a moment of freedom and self-expression.
“Now, on my second Paris Fashion Week, I found myself asking again at 4 a.m., before my 7 a.m. flight to Dubai: why am I doing this? Here's what I know—I'm here to learn, to be inspired, to keep pushing myself into something I'm still figuring out. Being here feels like running barefoot by the ocean: free, unfiltered, and full of life,” Sarah expressed.
Despite the hectic schedule, the actress said she relished every moment.
“It's hectic, sure, but the rush, the conversations, the little moments—they keep that spark alive. I don't have it all figured out yet. But that's okay. I know I will,” she expressed.

Sarah was among Filipino celebrities spotted at Paris Fashion Week 2024 last September. Others in attendance included Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee, It’s Showtime host Anne Curtis, actress Max Collins, and Filipino American model Kelsey Merritt, among others.
Last year, Sarah also reflected on her first Paris Fashion Week journey, describing it as both surreal and transformative.
“It’s a bit surreal to think back to a time when I felt .. lost, my spirit weighed down, and the light seemed distant. Yet, here I am, embracing my dreams in a city that feels like a second home,” she wrote.
“This journey began as a simple birthday treat for myself—a chance to celebrate in a place I adore. Little did I know it would coincide with Fashion Week, and that I would have the opportunity to connect with someone I’ve long admired for her style and work ethic,” she added.
“I’m immensely grateful to everyone who believed in me and my dream. This journey is a reminder of why I pursued this path: to learn, to have fun, and to embrace the beautiful chaos of it all.”
