She may have been representing South Korea, but that didn't stop Filipinos from showering Sandara Park with love.
The K-pop superstar said late Monday she was deeply moved by the loud cheers from the crowd during her appearance at the "Shoot of Asia" exhibition game held Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Park served as the manager of the Rising Eagles, a team of South Korean celebrities that faced off against Kuys Showtime, composed of Filipino stars. She was also a guest performer at the event.
On her social media pages, Park, who first rose to fame in the Philippines before achieving global stardom as a member of the girl group 2NE1, shared a video featuring snippets of her moments from the event.
The video featured clips of the crowd chanting her name before she took the floor to perform, along with a moment of her singing her iconic Filipino track "In or Out," as the audience sang along in unison.
It also showed fellow K-pop stars Jeong Jinwoon of 2AM and Choi Minho of SHINee looking astonished and hyped as the crowd sang along.
"Hearing the cheers again made me emotional," Park wrote on her post's caption.
"Thank you for giving me such an unforgettable moment," she told fans.

Park went on to thank the fans who shared clips of her performance, along with her content team, "for making this night shine even brighter."
"Mahal ko kayo. Maraming salamat," she said.
The basketball game, co-presented by Bench, will also be featured in a sports reality show set to air on Korean broadcaster SBS, which formed the Rising Eagles. Meanwhile, Filipino personalities in the Kuys Showtime lineup included Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, River Joseph, Dustin Yu and David Licauco, among others.

At a press conference a day before the game, Park admitted she felt "a dilemma" by being the Rising Eagles' manager, as she had friends on the rival team.
She said she also believed the match was "a celebration that brings these two countries together."

Park, 40, rose to fame in the Philippines after joining ABS-CBN’s reality talent competition "Star Circle Quest" in 2004, which launched her acting and singing career.
In 2009, she debuted as a member of 2NE1, one of K-pop's most influential girl groups, credited with diversifying the image of female acts in the South Korean idol industry and popularizing the "girl crush" concept.
