On October 16, the nominations for the MAMA 2025 (MNet Asian Music Awards) were revealed, with BLACKPINK standing out as the most-nominated act, dominating both group and solo categories.
This year, BLACKPINK earned a total of 23 nominations combined from both group and solo categories, while its main rapper and lead vocalist JENNIE is the most nominated solo artist with 9 nominations.

Nominations were based on music released from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025. For the Artist of the Year and Artist Category awards, winners will be concluded based on 40% judging, 30% streaming and downloads (20% from Korea and 10% global), and 30% physical album sales.
Genre Category awards and the much-anticipated Song of the Year award will be determined based on 40% judging and 60% streaming and downloads (40% from Korea and 10% global). The Album of the Year will be chosen by 40% judging and 60% physical album sales (those that sold at least 1 million copies).
In addition, this year’s MAMA Awards will also incorporate fan voting, which plays a key role in determining the winners of the “Fans’ Choice” categories. Voting will take place via the Mnet Plus app and on X (formerly Twitter) using the hashtag #2025MAMAVOTE.
The first round of voting for the Fans’ Choice nominees is from October 16 at 6 p.m. KST to October 26 at 11:59 p.m. KST. The top 20 artists from the pre-vote will advance to the second round, which will run from October 30 at 6 p.m. KST to November 10 at 11:59 p.m. KST.
