Award-winning leading men Richard Gomez and Aga Muhlach are inspiring their fans to start their journey to fitness as the newest celebrity ambassadors of a local tuna brand.

The '90s matinee idols, now in their 50s, were transformed with help from coach Mauro Lumba, Century Tuna and Superbods 2014 grand champion.

Since joining the campaign, Muhlach has lost 50 pounds, while Gomez said his pants have become 4 inches looser.

In their launch event with Century Tuna, the two celebrity dads stressed the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle.

"We're not teenagers anymore," Gomez acknowledged. "When the challenge came in, sabi namin, kaya ba namin ito?"

"The older you get, the more fit you have to be," he continued. "Eat the right food, do the right exercises. Keeping an active lifestyle is very important."

"Ako umabot ako ng 260 pounds talaga. And I'm 5'9," recalled Muhlach, who aims to stay committed to staying fit and healthy.

"Masaya ako na nakasama ko si Richard," he added, referring to his newest campaign with his fellow actor. "First time naming magkasama sa isang ad. Even in the '90s, he had his own world and I had my own."

In their promotional videos for Century Tuna's newest campaign, Muhlach shared how he has changed so much over the past months after his change in lifestyle.

"It's not really like I'm on a diet, no. I'm just eating right, I'm just doing my sports again. And then you get up, move, enjoy the process," he said.

"Enough na fat shaming, I've had lots of those before," he admitted. "Like, 'Aga, ang taba mo!' I gained 60-70 lbs. Malayo pa, but we're getting there."

He and Gomez also shared advice to those who are having a hard time kicking off their fitness journey.

"Number one, you should know your goal. Second is how to get to that goal. There are so many steps to do, like exercise and correct diet," Gomez said.

Muhlach, for his part, shared: "People already know how to do it, but you just got to do it. You just got to commit to it."

"It's really a commitment. Don't get frustrated. It's hard, but we're committed to this," he ended.
