Broadway icon Lea Salonga had an unforgettable fan moment after BTS member V liked her Instagram reel.
Lea took to Instagram to share a video she captured during BTS's Arirang World Tour concert at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. In the clip, V can be seen performing "FYA" while seemingly looking straight into her camera, making the moment even more special for the Filipina theater legend.
“Thanks, [V], for looking into my camera! You truly are special!” Lea wrote in the caption.
The reel quickly delighted both ARMYs and Lea's followers, with many saying how lucky she was to have captured the moment.
"My two worlds colliding! A legend meeting her fellow legend. You are so lucky, Ms. Lea! 🐻💓✨,” one fan commented.
"He definitely noticed! He was really looking at your camera—so sweet! 😉😉😉😍,” another wrote.

However, the excitement didn't stop there as V himself had liked Lea's Instagram reel, prompting the Broadway star to share her happiness on her Instagram Stories.
“What is happening????,” Lea wrote alongside a screenshot showing V's account among those who liked her post.
She added, “[V], thank you. I am freaking out. Have a great show tonight, I'm watching again!”

True to her word, Lea returned to MetLife Stadium for the second night of BTS's concert, despite already attending the opening show.

Earlier on August 2, she shared photos from her day one concert experience, showing that she watched the concert alongside her son, Nic Chien.
“We made it to MetLife Stadium in New Jersey! I didn’t take too many fancams this time, given our seats I wanted to take them in with my eyeballs! Once again, lots of Pinoy ARMY! Thank you, @bts.bighitofficial for such a fantastic show!!!” she wrote.
“Huge shoutout to the dancers! We felt like you were dancing just for us!!!” she added.
Lea posted snapshots and videos from both the soundcheck and the concert, including photos with her official BTS ARMY Bomb lightstick. She also shared a heartwarming clip together with Nic while they enthusiastically jam along to "IDOL," delighting fellow fans online.

Lea has never hidden her admiration for BTS and has proudly identified herself as an ARMY through the years.
In fact, her US experience was not her first stop on the group's Arirang World Tour. Back in June, she flew to South Korea to watch BTS perform in Busan during their kick-off and 13th anniversary.
Reflecting on that trip, she wrote: “I wanted 2026 to be a year lived with joy, so this was definitely on the agenda to achieve that. And this trip to South Korea didn’t disappoint! Sure, there are things specific to the Busan experience that could’ve gone better, but @bts.bighitofficial was amazing and Arirang was a technical and artistic feat. Kudos to everyone involved in making that gigantic show happen! Shoutout to the dancers too who were spectacular!”
Meanwhile, Filipino ARMYs would not have to travel far to see BTS live, as the group is set to bring the Arirang World Tour to the Philippines on March 13, 14, and 16 at the Philippine Sports Stadium.
