Lea Salonga attended BTS's Arirang World Tour concert at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey with her son, Nic Chien.
The Broadway star shared snapshots and clips from the event on social media, including moments from the soundcheck and concert proper, as well as photos of herself enjoying the show with Nic.
"We made it to MetLife Stadium in New Jersey! I didn’t take too many fancams this time, given our seats I wanted to take them in with my eyeballs! Once again, lots of Pinoy ARMY! Thank you, @bts.bighitofficial for such a fantastic show!!!" she posted on her Instagram page.
Lea also praised the performers who joined BTS onstage.
"Huge shoutout to the dancers! We felt like you were dancing just for us!!!" she added.
Fans online were quick to react to Lea's post

This was not Lea’s first time attending a show from BTS’ Arirang World Tour. In June, she traveled to South Korea to watch the group perform in Busan.
"I wanted 2026 to be a year lived with joy, so this was definitely on the agenda to achieve that. And this trip to South Korea didn’t disappoint! Sure, there are things specific to the Busan experience that could’ve gone better, but @bts.bighitofficial was amazing and Arirang was a technical and artistic feat. Kudos to everyone involved in making that gigantic show happen! Shoutout to the dancers too who were spectacular!" she posted back in June.

In a previous interview on the What A Life! podcast, she recalled how the group helped her cope with a difficult emotional period during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“2020. COVID, and everybody’s stuck at home. I don’t know, I was just going through quite a bit in my life. The isolation, even though my friends and I were making an effort to stay in touch with each other. Watching my kid navigate that kind of isolation from friends — that’s a big ask of somebody that young and impressionable and vulnerable,” she shared.
Lea said she discovered BTS through the group’s 2020 hit “Dynamite.”
“I’m watching YouTube, as most everybody does to try and get through the day, and I’m like what is this? What is this on my social media? I watched the video and the minute I saw V in that bottle green Gucci waistcoat and flared trousers, like pushing his hair back, I’m like–– and I’m done, this is it,” she stated.
From there, she began exploring more of the group’s music, performances and online content.
“It just pulled me out of this sad, not quite hopeless, but this sad state of affairs that my brain found itself in. I’m like, I’m gonna live here in a minute because I don’t know when this pandemic is gonna end, but I’m gonna open YouTube or open the internet every day, and I’m gonna watch what these guys are doing,” she said.
