MANILA -- Following her successful Hollywood projects, including "Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed" and "Avatar: The Last Airbender," actress Dolly De Leon took a break for a few months and was able to slow down and recharge.

De Leon said she has been making the most of her downtime by enjoying everyday routines that she rarely gets to do while filming.

"Na-miss ko naka tunganga lang ako sa bahay," she said in a press conference in Quezon City, Wednesday. "Nagluto ako, namalengke ako. Ginawa ko lahat yan. Nag grocery kami, nag-tanim ako halaman. Nag-alaga ako ng pusa."

She also spent her time trying new activities, including yoga.

"Alam niyo ba, may choir group [na] pwede mo attendan every Sunday? Ang saya-saya," she said. "Chine-cherish ko [kasi] once mag-work ako, wala na ulit. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam."

According to De Leon,  the break gave her a chance to recharge.

"Wala ka prinoproblema. Acting is a very stressful job. Kahit masaya siya, it is stressful. Itong nakaraang mga buwan I got to decompress," she said.

De Leon, who described herself as an "intense gamer" also revealed she rewards herself with Play Station Games such as  "Resident Evil," "Call of Duty Mobile" and "Split Fiction."

"I bought a PS5… Ang mahal mahal ng bala. Iyan reward ko ang bala. Meron nga 3k— pag 5k, hindi ko binibili. Iyan reward ko sa sarili," she said.

De Leon is set to again fly out soon to again shoot  international films such as "Boys Like Daniel."

She is also part of "The Chaperones," and the animation "Forgotten Island."

"Forgotten Island is very Pinoy. They really did their extensive research. To get down to the truth of our identity— andoon din culture of our family and friendship. Very Pinoy," she said.
