Bimby Aquino has shared how he plans to spend his first paycheck as an adult, saying that a portion of it will go to the church while the rest will be used to treat his mother, Queen of All Media Kris Aquino.
On July 4, a video uploaded online showed Bimby lining up to receive his salary.
As he is about received his earnings, Bimby excitedly said, “I’m claiming my first adult sweldo.”
Asked who would be the first person he would treat using his salary, Bimby immediately answered: “My mom, of course. I have to.”
He then said that he and Kris had already agreed on what to do with his first paycheck, revealing that half of it would first be donated to the church.
“And ang promise ni Mama to my priest, si Father Jun, or he is now a Bishop ata... So we’re going to donate half of it muna,” he said.
Bimby also reacted with delight after discovering that his salary would be given in cash.
“Wow, it’s cash. I like cash!” he said with a laugh.
The young television personality is currently on his guest hosting stint on a long-running noontime show. Many viewers were delighted seeing his hosting skills and chemistry with fellow host Ryzza Mae Dizon.
Netizens have also praised Kris in the comments for Bimby's upbringing.

In late June, Kris made a rare public appearance when she visited the show to support Bimby. Wearing a white top, black skirt, and eyeglasses, the actress-host was spotted in the audience and warmly acknowledged by the show's hosts. She also enjoyed dinner with Bimby, Ryzza, Miles Ocampo, and Ryzza's mom after.
Many netizens were touched to see Kris embracing her stage mom role while she continues to recover from multiple autoimmune diseases. Earlier this year, she shared that her condition continues to improve.
Even before Bimby's television appearances, Kris had already expressed her support for her son's decision to enter show business.

In February, she took to Instagram to clarify that while she fully supports Bimby's career, she has no plans of becoming his "mamager".
“I like being a mama, I couldn't see myself being a 'mamager'… Bimb is still undergoing his training including a few skills that may surprise you, and I’m leaving his career planning to someone I trust because he has integrity, a solid home life, and he and his beautiful wife cared enough to invite my son over to their home to meet their children and that reassured me that Bimb will be treated like family,” Kris wrote.
Bimby's preparations for the entertainment industry have been underway for quite some time. Last year, Cornerstone Entertainment shared photos and videos of him undergoing vocal lessons under award-winning singer-songwriter and vocal coach Thor Dulay.

Although Kris chose not to identify the person who would be managing Bimby's career, she revealed that there is openness to working with another group for his music endeavors.
“They were also flexible about sharing Bimb with another group as far as music is concerned.”
She likewise assured her followers that she would not interfere with her son's professional decisions and would instead leave those matters to Bimby and his management team.
“Please use this post as your receipt. I promise that i will only make pakialam with the overall styling of my son. All other decisions it will be up to Bimb and his manager Titos and Tita,” she added.
Meanwhile, fans can expect Kris' potential return as she is hoping to launch her video podcast as soon as she recovers.
