Andi Eigenmann opened up about her co-parenting journey with former partner Jake Ejercito as they raise their daughter, Ellie Ejercito.
In an interview with Karen Davila in her latest YouTube vlog, Andi shared that she and Jake have maintained a good co-parenting relationship.
"We're okay. We're not really like other parents or co-parents that you see our relationship on social media, but we really have a good co-parenting relationship, I would say. And I am so grateful to have him as my partner in raising Ellie," she remarked.
Andi acknowledged, however, that they have entered a particularly challenging stage of parenthood now that Ellie is a teenager.
"We are at the extreme difficult level. You know, we have a teenager. Ellie is turning 15 this year, and she's going on to Grade 9. So, we are being faced with more difficult challenge. I mean, I think every teenagers' parent can relate, so I feel like us really getting along and seeing eye to eye is more inevitable at this stage more than ever," she relayed.
When asked how she and Jake learned to forgive each other and eventually became on good terms, Andi said their love for Ellie made the process easier.
"Madali if it's for the love of your child. We love Ellie so much. And when we were still together, he knows how badly [we] wanted to be this specific type of parent, and he hears me. And I guess it comes from that. Just really holding on to what we know of each other. What kind of parent we wanted to be," she stated.

The actress went on: "Sadly, we didn't end up together but it doesn't mean that the willingness to want to be that parent to Ellie [isn't] still there. It is still there, so we support each other in that way I guess even though we don't talk about it."
Ellie celebrated her 14th birthday last November 2025.
