Actress Bea Alonzo made it official as she posted photos from her private wedding to businessman Vincent Co.
In a carousel of photos, Bea shared snaps from their civil wedding in Makati on Monday night, July 13.
"Home 🤍," the actress simply wrote in the caption.
The photos featured Bea and Vincent lovingly posing after getting married. A photo of the two showing their wedding bands in front of the "Office of the Mayor" was also highlighted.
At the end of the photos, Bea and Vincent held a wedding cake with simply "just married" written on it.
Several celebrity friends expressed happiness for the couple in the comments section.
"💍👰🏻♀️🤵🏻❤️ love you guys!" actress and Bea's close friend Dimples Romana said.
Actor Jake Ejercito also expressed, "Congrats and best wishes to you both!"
Actress-host Jervi "Kaladkaren" Wrightson also said, "Congratulations Ate Beiiiii and Vincent!❤️ love wins!👏👏👏 ."
Bea and Vincent's wedding made headlines earlier this week after speculations that the two had first postponed their supposed destination wedding, allegedly because of a prenuptial consideration.
They later squashed the rumors when a staff member of Makati Mayor Nancy Binay confirmed to ABS-CBN News on Tuesday, July 14, that they had tied the knot.
Mayor Nancy later posted on her social media that she officiated their wedding, saying: "Kinasal ko na po sila."
In a statement released Tuesday, Atty. Joey V. Garcia of GERA LAW also confirmed the reports of the couple's wedding at around 7 p.m. on Monday, July 13.
"Yes, I confirm that the civil wedding of Ms. Bea Alonzo and Mr. Vincent Co took place yesterday evening at around 7:00 PM at the Makati City Hall, and the ceremony was solemnized by Mayor Nancy Binay."
"Since there have been previous reports and public speculation regarding an alleged issue involving a prenuptial agreement, allow me, for the sake of accuracy and fairness, to clarify the matter," Attorney Joey said.
"The earlier reports suggesting that there was any dispute, hesitation, or unresolved issue concerning a prenuptial agreement are not accurate.
"As counsel, I can confirm that the parties freely, knowingly, and voluntarily executed their prenuptial agreement, and the same was properly signed by both Ms. Bea Alonzo and Mr. Vincent Co prior to their marriage. There was no legal impediment arising from the execution of the agreement," Garcia said.
