Showbiz columnist Ogie Diaz has claimed that actress Bea Alonzo and Puregold executive Vincent Co have already tied the knot, allegedly in a quiet civil wedding at Makati City Hall on Monday, July 13.

Diaz said he had seen a photo of Bea and Vincent at what appeared to be their wedding, as well as their wedding banns.

"Congratulations, Bea Alonzo and Vincent Co. Finally they got married na," Ogie said in a Facebook video, adding that the wedding reportedly took place at 7 p.m.

According to him, only a handful of people witnessed the ceremony, among them the owners of Secosana, the family behind Bea's own travel bag brand, Bash.

"Ang naka-witness lamang sa kanilang kasal daw ay ang mga may-ari ng Secosana bags, kung saan meron doon si Bea na brand, ito ngang kanyang Bash bags niya," he said, noting that no big crowd was present and that it was just the couple and a small group at Makati City Hall.

Ogie said he received a photo from a source that appeared to confirm the wedding, along with what appeared to be a copy of the couple's marriage certificate.

"Meron ngang nagpadala sa akin ng retrato. Confirmed nga, sabi ko. Meron din silang COM or Certificate of Marriage," he said.

If true, the wedding would fulfill what Ogie described as Bea's long-standing wish to marry quietly, following the very public attention that followed the reading of their marriage banns back in March.

"Natupad din ang pangarap ni Bea na makasal,” Ogie said, adding that this was already the couple's second attempt at a wedding date after an earlier plan reportedly did not push through.

"Pangalawang udlot na ito,” Ogie noted.

He also addressed the widely reported prenuptial agreement between the couple, which had circulated online as a possible source of conflict months earlier.

He said celebrity lawyer Atty. Lorna Kapunan, who represents Bea, was reportedly present at the wedding.

According to Ogie, the prenup was never really a major issue between the two, despite online chatter suggesting otherwise.

"Napakaliit na bagay para sa prenup. Walang issue kay Bea ‘yan dahil si Bea naman may pera," he said, dismissing talk that Bea had insisted on the agreement because of concerns over wealth or financial standing between her and Vincent.

Ogie added that comparisons about who is richer between the couple do not matter when it comes to their relationship.

"Pagdating sa puso, wala ‘yan. Pagdating naman sa sa pag-ibig, hindi issue ‘yung pera or hindi issue kung gaano kayaman si lalaki kay babae," he said.

Ogie also expressed how happy he is for Bea despite everything they have gone through. It can be recalled that Bea previously filed a cyber libel case against him, to which he responded with a counter‑affidavit.

“Kahit may issue kami ni Bea, kahit buksan niyo man ang aking puso, sobrang happy ako para kay Bea,” Ogie said.

He capped off his video with well wishes for the couple, saying he hopes they can now move forward without the constant public scrutiny that has followed their relationship for months.

"Bea, Vincent, congratulations and best wishes. Tuloy-tuloy lang ‘yan. Focus lang tayo sa ating marriage at wala nang pakialam dapat ang ibang tao diyan," he said.

He even jokingly floated the idea of a possible pregnancy announcement down the line, saying fans should watch for that next.

"Ang next naman nating topic diyan ay ‘Kailan naman natin mababalitaan na preggy na si Bea?;" he said.

As of this writing, Bea and Vincent have not issued any statement confirming or denying the alleged wedding.

The claim comes months after the couple's marriage banns were read at St. Peter the Apostle Parish in Paco, Manila, in March, which was followed by conflicting reports about a planned wedding in Spain that reportedly did not push through in May, and later speculation about a possible cancellation tied to a prenup dispute.

Ogie's latest claim is the most recent in a series of rumors about the couple's wedding plans and, like the reports before it, remains unconfirmed by Bea, Vincent, or their camps.
