Bea Alonzo took to social media to clarify that she is not pregnant.
In an Instagram post on Friday, October 17, the actress expressed her gratitude to those who sent her birthday greetings and took the opportunity to address the circulating rumor about her supposed pregnancy.
"Thank you for all the birthday love 💕 Feeling so grateful for another year of laughter, growth, and the people who keep me grounded," she wrote.
"And for anyone curious about 'the picture' — just caught at a bad angle after an amazing dinner 😌 Glowing, not expecting ✨."
The pregnancy rumors started after a photo featuring Bea and her boyfriend, Vincent Co, went viral on social media, which was taken during a surprise birthday party organized by her staff.
Some netizens speculated that Bea appeared to be concealing her stomach with a bouquet of flowers she was holding in the photo.
Bea celebrated her 38th birthday on Friday.
It was in August when Bea confirmed that she is in a relationship with Vincent, who is currently the president of Puregold.
"I think it's very obvious that we are together," she said in an interview with GMA Integrated News.
Although she confirmed it, Bea highlighted she still wants to keep their relationship out of the spotlight. "We understand the curiosity, but I think... I don't want to say people ruin beautiful things, but I think the most beautiful things are the ones kept private," she said.
Bea recently went on a trip to Croatia. In one of her posts, the actress shared that she visited the filming location of the hit series Game of Thrones.
She posted: "Finally made it to King’s Landing 🥹 (aka Dubrovnik for the non-GoT fans) — and yes, I’m still smiling even though my luggage went missing on the way 😅
She added: "What an adventure — Dubrovnik, Croatia truly feels like stepping straight into Westeros ✨."
