Ate Gay has shared another health update after revealing that doctors recently discovered a new lump on her neck, prompting her to undergo a treatment anew amid her battle with stage 4 cancer, specifically mucoepidermoid carcinoma.
The comedienne, whose real name is Gil Aducal Morales, shared the update on Facebook on July 9, adding that her medical team immediately took action.
"Nakitaan ako ng bukol sa ibaba ng leeg ko malapit sa balikat na agad nila inagapan," she wrote.

According to Ate Gay, she underwent CyberKnife treatment, a non-invasive procedure used to treat cancerous and non-cancerous tumors, as well as other conditions that require radiation therapy.
Alongside the update, the comedienne shared photos from the hospital, thanking the doctors she described as her "angels" for taking care of her throughout the treatment. Despite the new health challenge, Ate Gay remained optimistic, even smiling and posing in some of the photos.
She also assured supporters that the new diagnosis would not stop her from doing what she loves.
"Di naman maapektuhan ang energy ko dahil dito, pinapayagan nila ako magperform ng bonggang bongga," she added.

Following her update, friends, fans, and supporters filled the comments section with prayers and well wishes for her continued recovery.

The latest development comes after Ate Gay happily announced on June 29 that the lumps on her nose and neck had vanished following treatment.
At the time, she shared the encouraging results, writing, “Magandang balita wala na akong bukol sa ilong at Leeg result ng MRI yeheyyyy Thank you Lord Jesus ❤️.”
Ate Gay first revealed that she had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer during an interview with Jessica Soho in September 2025, where she candidly spoke about the emotional weight of the diagnosis.
“Mahirap ngayon ang lagay ko. May kanser ako, stage 4 daw. Magtatagal ba ang buhay ko? Ang sabi, hindi na daw ako aabutin ng 2026. Kaya ang sakit-sakit sa akin. Hindi na rin daw ako puwedeng operahan. Wala raw lunas,” she said.
She also opened up about how difficult it had been to process the news, admitting that she cried almost every day while asking the public for prayers and strength.
“Masakit sa akin. Halos araw-araw umiiyak ako. Hindi naman ako nagkulang kay Lord. Although lagi kong sinasabi na walang himala. Kailangan ko po ng dasal. Kailangan ko po ng lakas at sana po makayanan ko ang araw-araw kong buhay sa ngayon,” she expressed.
Since publicly sharing her diagnosis, Ate Gay has received an outpouring of support from friends in the entertainment industry and fans alike, which has inspired her to continue facing her cancer journey with hope. She has also regularly shared on social media how she finds strength through faith and prayer as she continues her battle against cancer.
