K-pop star-turned-actress Sooyoung and actor Jung Kyung-ho have broken up after dating for 14 years, according to a report.
The two stars' agencies confirmed the split in separate statements, Korean entertainment news website Soompi reported Tuesday.
"It is true that they have broken up. They have decided to remain good colleagues," Soo-young's management company, Saram Entertainment said, as quoted in the Soompi article.
Meanwhile, Kyung-ho's agency, Management Allum, said: "“It is true that they have broken up. As it is a private matter, it is difficult to provide further details."
The two have been dating since 2012 but went public with their relationship in 2014.
Sooyoung, whose full name is Choi Soo-young, first rose to fame as a member of the iconic group Girls’ Generation, known for songs such as "Into the New World," "Genie" and "Gee."
She has also ventured into acting, starring in dramas such as "Run On," "So I Married the Anti-fan" and "I Dol I."
Kyung-ho, meanwhile, is known for his roles in "Hospital Playlist," "Crash Course in Romance" and, most recently, the legal drama "Pro Bono."
