Aga Muhlach is one proud dad after his son, Andres Muhlach, secured a podium finish in his first-ever cycling race.
Andres and Aga participated in the recent 2026 OVRLND GRVL race.
On his Instagram page, Aga shared a snapshot of Andres receiving his award after the race.
"1st race podium!!! Just keep on riding and appreciate the community!!! Congrats, Andres!!! @aagupy 🚴🏿♂️💯💯💯🙌🏼😎 #OvrlndGrvl2026," Aga posted.
Family and fans online were quick to congratulate Andres on his accomplishment.
"Congratulations my son on your first race ❤️ @aagupy," his mom Charlene Gonzalez commented.
"Congrats Andres!!! What a first race for you!👏" another fan said.
In a separate post, Aga expressed his joy to be part of the race with his son.
"Happiest to have raced you! 152 avg HR - 178 max! 😅🤣😎 kinaya naman haha 😂 Hey, this guy here finished 11th out of the 54 great gentlemen in my age category! Not bad noh ?! 😎😉 You guys were awesome! Let’s do this again next year! Saya to have raced with friends and my son who made it to the podium naman sa age cat niya. Saya! What more can I ask for," he posted.
Aga added: "Salamat, Lord sa pagkakataong Ito! Sana maulit. Dapat maulit! Maraming salamat sa community! You guys rock!!! Cheers! Ride safe! TIL we meet again! 🚴🏿♂️🚴🏿♂️🚴🏿♂️💯💯💯🫶🏽🫶🏽😎😎 woohoo!!!"

Andres entered show business in 2024 and starred in Da Pers Family. He later starred in the hit series Ang Mutya ng Section E and the film Minamahal. Earlier this year, he also ventured into theater through Bagets: The Musical.
In a March 2025 interview with PEP, Andres opened up about his transition into the entertainment industry after completing his studies in Spain.
“Coming from being in Spain and then, like, this being my first job as well, it's really all new to me, and everything that I've experienced so far, it's all been learning curves, I'd like to say," he shared.
The young actor also admitted feeling the pressure of carrying a well-known family name.
"It's a bit pressuring, for sure. There is that aspect that since he is who he is, he's Aga Muhlach and he has this stature, then here I come, you know, his son," he confessed.
Despite the pressure, Andres said his biggest motivation is making his parents proud.
“Of course, I wouldn't want to tarnish anything that he's worked hard to do in his career. And for me, it's more pressuring because I want to do good," he added. “I want to bring a good image to our last name, to our family name. And, overall, I just want to make both my parents proud.”
