Ariana Grande took to Instagram last June 12 to announce the establishment of the Brighter Days Ahead Foundation.
The post reads: “The Brighter Days Ahead Foundation by Ariana Grande uplifts and directly funds small organizations that provide protection, support, and vital resources for vulnerable communities.”
In line with Pride Month, the foundation announced three funds that support organizations directly associated with LGBTQ+ rights, voices, and stories and mental health. These funds are: Protect & Defend, Heal & Dream, and Seen & Celebrated.
The foundation also has an Emergency Support Fund, which is intended to support communities in times of urgent need. These include New York Cares, Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, and Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, among others.
The Transgender Law Center, a beneficiary of the Protect & Defend Fund, took to the comments section to express its gratitude. “Thank you, Ariana, for your continued allyship and for supporting our communities 🩷🩵"
“We’re honored to have your support and to build spaces of belonging and connection because of it 💙 Thank you!” Jack.org commented, a mental health organization and beneficiary of the Heal & Dream Fund.
Transanta, a beneficiary of the Seen & Celebrated Fund commented, “We are deeply grateful for you @arianagrande ♥️ your dedication and commitment to helping queer and trans people is the harbinger of brighter days ahead.”
Ariana, in her letter of announcement, said, “It has been my privilege to be able to support these causes on my own over the years, and I'm grateful to now be able to expand that reach and amplify the life-saving work that these organizations do through the Brighter Days Foundation.”

The name of the foundation takes from Ariana’s deluxe album Eternal Sunshine: Brighter Days Ahead.’ She is currently on tour in support of the album, which she kickstarted at Oakland Arena in Oakland, California, last June 6 (US time).
The Eternal Sunshine Tour is set to conclude by September 1 at the O2 Arena in London.

Ariana also announced that she will be releasing a new album titled Petal, set to drop on July 31.
