Ariana Grande kicked off her The Eternal Sunshine Tour at Oakland Arena in Oakland, California on June 6 (US time).
Following the conclusion of the first day of the concert and the commencement of the tour, Ariana took to social media to express her gratitude and love to her fans as she returned to the concert stage.
"Oakland, night one … ♡ It feels impossible to find the words at this time… so for now, just thank you," she wrote on her Instagram page.
The pop star went on: "From the bottom of my heart, I love you all more than words can ever possibly say. And I missed you. Thank you."
Fans online were quick to react to Ariana's post.
"A MASTERPIECE!! The entire production was perfection!" one fan commented.
"What a way to start a tour!" another fan wrote.
Among the tracks she performed during the tour were "yes, and?", "positions," "thank u, next," "7 rings," "One Last Time," "Break Free," "Dangerous Woman," "Honeymoon Avenue," "Into You," "Hate That I Made You Love Me," and "Supernatural."
In an interview on the Good Hang podcast hosted by Amy Poehler in November 2025, Ariana opened up about the possibility that her upcoming The Eternal Sunshine Tour could be her last major concert tour for the foreseeable future.
Reflecting on the next chapter of her career, Ariana said, "The last 10 or 15 years will look very different to the ones that are coming up. I don’t want to say anything definitive. I do know that I'm very excited to do this small tour, but I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long, long, long time."
She went on to share that she plans to make every show count. "I'm going to give it my all and it’s going to be beautiful. I think that’s why I'm doing it because I'm like, 'One last hurrah!'" she stated.
The Eternal Sunshine Tour is scheduled to conclude on September 1 at The O2 Arena in London, capping off a 41-show run.
Ariana Grande to release new album 'Petal' in July
Ariana recently announced that she will release a new album titled Petal on July 31.
In a previous interview with Variety, Ariana described Petal as a project that reflects "something that is full of life and growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging."
The singer co-wrote and executive produced the album alongside Swedish-Persian producer Ilya. According to its Spotify listing, Petal will feature 12 tracks.
Its lead single, "Hate That I Made You Love Me" was released on May 29 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
