Kapuso actress Michelle Dee said that her friendship with Rhian Ramos and Samantha Panililio hasn’t been affected despite the legal issues they faced earlier this year. In an interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda on Fast Talk earlier this week, the beauty queen expressed how they remained close and unaffected.
Michelle, Rhian, and Samantha were previously issued subpoenas by the National Bureau of Investigation following the claims of the former driver of Rhian that they allegedly physically assaulted and illegally detained him from January 17 to January 19. The three of them have since denied the allegations and have complied with the investigation.

“Hindi naman naapektuhan, we’re still very, very close, and we’d like to keep it that way,” she expressed.
The Kapuso star then admitted that she’s doing “very well” despite the serious situation that happened earlier this year.
“I mean, especially kasi January pa nangyari. I’m really focused on things that I’m working on. Pero, you know, nobody wants to be put in that spot–– to be under national spotlight, scrutiny, [and] accusations–– especially without fact-checking,” she shared.
Michelle added how netizens are now more informed, claiming they can discern the truth.
“I guess I’m also lucky na matalino na yung mga tao ngayon. Matalino silang mag husga, they can connect the dots, they can check facts, they can discern, and we’ve always said this, the truth is going to come out. It has been coming out and you can see it sa general opinion talaga,” she explained.

Despite the prevailing opinion going their way, she maintained that fake news remains a problem. She expressed how people who spread false information should still be accountable for their actions.
Michelle previously filed a cyber libel complaint against internet personality Xian Gaza for his posts that her legal team considered “defamatory and malicious.”
“Fake news is such a problem nowadays and it’s so easy to come out with a story without even fact-checking. I think people should stay accountable. Hindi naman porket may source ka it means totoo. A lot of people are victims of that–– I just hope the truth comes out in that regard. I definitely don’t agree na dapat binibigyan pa ng panahon ang mga nagfa-fake news,” she maintained.
