The legal team of Rhian Ramos shared that they are ready to file civil and criminal cases against those who are attacking her. They have identified the individuals who started the malicious campaign directed towards their client.
Rhian is represented by Kapunan & Castillo Law Offices who reminded the public that even though the Kapuso actress is a celebrity, she still has a right to her private life outside the limelight.
“Even if she’s a celebrity–– a public figure–– she has her own private life outside her show,” Attorney Lorna Kapunan shared with GMA News.
This move comes after several fake news stories have circulated on social media earlier this year following the accusations made by Rhian’s former driver who was allegedly illegally detained and assaulted by her, Michelle Dee, and Samantha Panlilio.
Earlier this month, the Kapuso star broke her silence about the accusations thrown against her and is confident that the truth will set them all free.
“Well honestly, siyempre sino ba naman ang matutuwa. I can say yes it’s in a way stressful pero I’m also quite confident na the truth will set us free,” she previously shared.
She did not give any details due to legal reasons, but is hopeful about the result at the end of it all.
“I just can’t give so much details about everything because we might be waiting for a possible case or whatever. So, I can’t give too many details but in the end, the truth will set us free,” she added.

Previously, Michelle’s legal team also denied the allegations thrown against her and maintained her innocence.
“We find this physically impossible and also incredible kasi based on the allegation of the driver, nangyari raw yung alleged mauling and illegal detention, January 17 to 19. However, records would show na si Michelle Dee was in Iloilo ng buong araw ng January 17, and she was able to go back to Manila only on January 18,” Attorney Maggie Abraham-Garduque previously shared.
