Speaking with PUSH ABS-CBN, she explained why she never lets go of her dreams despite what others may think may be too big.

“So, I don’t think I’ve ever let go of a dream and… I just can’t. Yun nga, if I can dream it, I can do it. Yun lang yun. And there’s no dream that’s too big or too small,” she expressed.

“It’s gonna happen for me ‘cause I dreamed [of] it, and it’s gonna happen. Yun lang,” she added.

She then shared the biggest risk she took–– moving to the Philippines from Canada at a young age without financial stability.

“There is a misconception na because I’m from Canada may pera na ako, kasi Englishera ako may pera ako–wala po talaga, sinasabi ko na ngayon. Wala po talaga. We moved across the world with nothing and I really was just depending on my work to fund me and my family,” she shared.

AC credited her family for the support and trust they’ve shown her which got her through all of the challenges she faced once she entered the Philippine showbiz industry. She recalled how they would be moving places as they had nowhere to stay back then.

“Whenever I think about that, it just really pushes me to keep going,” she maintained.

The Kapamilya actress then expressed that she just continues to trust the process when asked about how success varies for artists.

“When there are moments like that I really just sit down and… I sit down, I breathe, and I just rethink na everyone has their own path like you said, like everyone has their own time,” she said.

“There are people who get it right away, and that’s just God’s path for you. It’ll happen when it happens. Yun lang talaga, and I'll just wait for my time–I’ll keep working hard, I’ll keep striving in being hungry, and working on myself not just in my career but also in my personal life, and then when it happens it’ll happen,” she ended.
