Actress and social media personality Iwa Moto shared that Jodi Sta. Maria will be one of her bridesmaids at her upcoming wedding to longtime partner Pampi Lacson. In an interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda on Fast Talk earlier this week, the celebrity mom gave a glimpse of how strong her friendship is with the Kapamilya actress.
Pampi was previously married to Jodi and it was only in 2024 when the annulment of the two was finalized.
When asked about how their friendship came to be, Iwa admitted that they didn’t start on a good note. Despite this, she maintained that she wasn’t the cause of the former couple’s breakup.
“Siguro kasi parang fresh pa lahat na nangyari tapos at the same time, parang siguro hindi niya rin ako kilala. Nung dumating naman ako sa buhay ni Pampi, wala na talaga sila. Kaya rin siguro hindi naging mahirap yung transition namin to become friends maybe because I’m not the reason why they broke up,” she recalled.
Iwa also noted how their love for Jodi’s son, Thirdy Lacson, was a key factor in making their friendship work. The three–– Iwa, Jodi, and Pampi–– have previously opened up about co-parenting Thirdy.
“It blossomed into this wonderful friendship to the point na I consider her as one of my best friends,” she added.
While her wedding with Pampi is set for 2028, after the national elections, Iwa assured that Jodi will be part of her wedding entourage.

“Actually, nagbibiruan palang kami dati. She was joking around, nung may picture kami ni Pampi, na ready na ang gown ko. Sabi ko wag kang mag-alala, you’ll be the one to first know. So, nung nangyari nga na nag propose si Pampi, isa siya sa mga nakaalam,” she maintained.
Meanwhile, the actress shared how Jodi is very happy and supportive of the couple’s upcoming wedding.
“When I told Jodi, sabi niya madam kung alam mo lang kung gaano ako ka-happy kasi ang tagal natin hinantay 'to,” Iwa ended.
