Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta. Maria expressed her happiness over the announcement of the engagement of actress Iwa Moto and her ex-husband, Pampi Lacson, last February 19. In an Instagram post, Iwa shared a glimpse of the engagement which happened during their vacation in Japan.
Pampi is Jodi’s ex-husband and their marriage was annulled in 2024. The two share one child, Thirdy, whom they’ve been co-parenting with alongside Iwa, who has two children with Pampi.

Based on her post, Pampi popped the question last February 18 during their trip to Nara. Iwa was seen all smiles as she proudly showed off her engagement ring in her post.
“So… this happened.. ❤️ Mahal You are my always and forever.. thank you for making me happy. I can’t wait to be your wife mahal,” she wrote.
“We have been together for almost 14 years and God knows we have been through a lot but in His grace eto tayo, NAGMAMAHALAN. I can’t wait to marry my best friend,” she added.
Jodi, who has been a supporter of their relationship, sent her congratulatory message in the comment section. She expressed her happiness for the newly engaged couple and maintained that she is “rejoicing” with them both.
“Life has a beautiful way of unfolding ❤️ Congratulations on your engagement Madam and Pampi,” Jodi expressed.
“Rejoicing with you both! This milestone is truly significant for the whole family,” she continued.
The Kapamilya star then shared that she already has something to wear for the upcoming wedding of the couple.
“Handa na po ang susuotin ko,” she ended.
“Grabe ka mag predict amor. Love you. As promised ikaw ang isa sa mga naunang nakaalam😂 hahaha. See you pag uwi namin,” Iwa replied.
It was back in 2024 when the annulment between Jodi and Pampi was finalized–– after 13 years of waiting for the decision of the Supreme Court.
“The time I spent in His waiting room was never easy nor was it comfortable. It was frustrating, discouraging, and even heartbreaking. I cried, prayed, questioned, and complained. I made 'tampo,' asked for forgiveness, prayed some more. I wanted to give up but He never let go of me,” she previously wrote.
