Karen Davila took to social media to express her pride as her son, Lucas, reached an academic milestone.
Lucas recently graduated from high school at the International School of Manila.
"Today, my heart walks across a stage. From the toddler that brought us so much joy, to the young man now ready to take on the world. Watching you grow Lukie has been such a gift," the Kapamilya broadcaster wrote.
She also reflected on Lucas's growth and the person he has become.
"I am so proud of the human you have become. No matter how tall you grow or how far life takes you, you are always in my heart. Your mom for life ❤️," she said.
Karen also reminded her son of the love and support surrounding him as he begins a new chapter in life.
"You are so loved Lucas ❤️ Always remember that wherever you go. Love you always forever and forever. Live your life for Christ, God’s good purpose and glory. Happy Graduation Lukie! #ISM2026," she remarked.
Friends and fans of Karen online were quick to congratulate Lucas.
"He’s so tall now! 😭❤️ Congratulations Lucas and to the proud parents 🥂," fellow Kapamilya broadcaster Zen Hernandez commented.
"Congratulations @lucasdavilastaana!!! Off to college! Proud of you. Congratulations too @iamkarendavila and @djstaana!" another fan wrote.
Karen has documented several milestones that Lucas achieved on social media in recent years.
Back in May 2023, Karen and Lucas joined volunteer initiatives in Marawi and Cotabato in partnership with UN Women Philippines.
"Exposure and experience are great teachers. He’s only seen war in films so stepping into Marawi was such a transformative & eye-opening experience for him," Karen said in an Instagram post at that time.
"I thank God for this opportunity with my son and thank you UN WOMEN PH for the amazing work that you do," she added.

A little over a year later, in September 2024, Lucas represented the Philippines at a United Nations event in New York City.
"UN SUMMIT OF THE FUTURE 🌏 So proud of you Lukie for being invited to be one of this year’s youth delegates for the Summit Of The Future Action Days!" the ABS-CBN news anchor shared on Instagram at that time.
According to un.org, the Action Days "are an opportunity to elevate the voice of youth in the multilateral system. Youth are key participants in efforts to secure breakthroughs in global cooperation."
Karen also praised Lucas for his dedication, saying: "I’ve seen how hard you’ve been working on your projects. I am so proud of you. Love you with all my heart ❤️ Am blessed to be your mom 😘," she remarked.
