The announcement came as a surprise to many followers, following the couple’s previously private civil ceremony on March 19, which they only revealed after the fact. The pair marked the civil union with a fine dining celebration and later shared wedding photos online.
The couple wed again on April 8 at Bluewater in Panglao, Bohol, in an intimate afternoon ceremony attended by only 54 guests. The wedding was also observed as a no-phone ceremony, keeping the moment private and focused on the celebration with close friends and family.
In a reel posted on Instagram, Angel shared moments from the wedding, showing the couple walking down the aisle under clear blue skies before sharing a kiss. The outdoor setup featured a simple yet elegant theme, with floral arrangements lining the venue as guests showered them with flower petals. The celebration was followed by a dinner gathering later in the evening.

Angel and Miguel have been together for eight years. Their relationship began in 2017 after Miguel messaged Angel on Instagram, complimenting her travel photos. Their first date — a hiking trip — eventually became a defining part of their story, symbolizing a shared passion that continued throughout their relationship.
